Returns / Exchanges

At Babu, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality products. We understand that occasionally you may need to return or exchange a product.

We accept returns and exchanges within 21 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in its original, unused, and unwashed condition.

  • All tags and labels must remain attached to the item.

  • The item must be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note we do not service refunds in the following circumstances:

(a) If you have damaged the goods including damage caused by inadequate packaging when returning goods

(b) Items custom-made to order

(c) Sale items (these are still eligible for store credits or exchanges)



How do I return or exchange an item?

You can submit a return/exchange right here on the website for the following situations:

exchanging for a different size or colour, returning for change of mind, or returning/exchanging for ordering the wrong item.


  1. Log in to your Babu account (If you checked out as a guest, create an account with the same email you used for your guest checkout)

  2. Go to Account > Orders

  3. Next to your order, click ‘Return Items’

  4. Select the item(s) for return, select your return reason and return action.

  5. Include any relevant information in the comments section. This should include the colour/size/product you wish to swap to if requesting an exchange.

  6. Click ‘Submit Return Request’. You’ll be shown some more information and the address for returns.

If you have requested a different size/colour in the comments, please wait for us to get back to you about stock availability before posting your return.

If you have received a faulty product or we have sent you the wrong item, please contact us directly at or 0800 386 886 rather than filling in the online request.


Where do I send my return?

Please ensure you have logged a return request before posting your return. See the section above for instructions.

When you’re ready to send your item(s) for return or exchange, please include your invoice inside and/or your order number clearly written on the package.

Once we receive your return, please allow 1-2 working days for processing. We will contact you once your return has been processed and will issue your requested exchange, refund, or store credit once your return has been approved.


I was sent the wrong product or my product is faulty

Despite our best efforts, sometimes mistakes can happen. If you have been sent an incorrect item, an item has been missed from your order, or you believe you have a faulty item, please contact us directly at or 0800 386 886.

For faulty items, please email us with your order number, the product you’re referring to, a description of the fault, washing methods used, and relevant photographs. We will thoroughly inspect the reported defect before verifying if this is a fault.


Please note that this policy does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, or improper laundering.

  • Products that have been modified or tampered with.

  • Normal wear and tear.

In the case of a missed, incorrect, or faulty item, in most cases we will resend a new, correct item to you and if applicable, include a prepaid return bag for you to return any incorrect or faulty item back to us. If you’d prefer a refund or store credit for a missed, incorrect, or faulty item, we will retrieve the item from you and provide the refund/credit. In the case of a refund, the funds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
