New Zealand Shipping

Shipping within New Zealand starts from $8, with flat rates based on your location. All parcels are sent via NZ Post overnight delivery, and most arrive the next day, though we recommend allowing 1–3 working days. Rural deliveries may take longer, so please ensure you provide the correct rural address.
NZ Post requires a valid street address. We cannot take responsibility for delivery failures caused by incomplete or incorrect addresses.

Australian Shipping
- Orders to Australia are shipped with either Australia Post or Aramex from our Melbourne warehouse. Delivery generally takes 2–7 working days, though rural addresses may take longer.

International Shipping

We ship internationally at a flat rate of $50 NZD. Unfortunately, international courier costs have risen significantly in recent years, and in most cases it costs us $50–$100 NZD to send parcels overseas. We’ve kept our rate as low as possible and will continue to review it as costs change.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination, but most parcels arrive within 5–15 working days. Deliveries to rural areas may take longer.
International orders may be subject to import duties, tariffs, or taxes levied by your country's authorities, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
A valid street address is required for delivery, and we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, customs clearance, or internal courier services within your country.
Important note on USA orders: At the moment, due to tariffs and import restrictions, we are unable to send orders directly to the United States. Current shipping rates are upwards of $150 NZD. If you place an order with a US delivery address, our team will be in touch to arrange a cancellation and refund. If you would like to place a large order, or are happy to cover the higher courier fee, please contact us at info@babu.co.nz

Customs, Tariffs, and Import Fees

It is the responsibility of the customer to research and pay any import duties, tariffs, or taxes charged by their country’s customs authority. These fees are not included in the product or shipping costs charged by Babu.
If a customer refuses to pay these fees and the parcel is returned to us, we may issue a refund for the goods only, less the original shipping cost. Refunds will only be processed once the returned goods have been received by Babu, inspected, and confirmed to be in new and undamaged condition.

Delivery and Responsibility

At Babu, we take care to ensure all orders are packed and dispatched promptly. Once your order has been collected from our warehouse, responsibility for delivery passes to our shipping partners. This means Babu is not liable for delays, damages, or issues that occur while parcels are in transit.
If your parcel is delayed or lost, we will do our best to help track it down with the carrier, and in some cases we may replace the items or issue a refund. These situations are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We strongly recommend requesting Signature on Delivery at checkout, as this helps safeguard against loss or theft.

Lost or Stolen Parcels
- Babu cannot take responsibility for parcels stolen after they have been delivered. Opting for Signature on Delivery reduces this risk and is recommended.
